John-Paul Davidson is a director, producer and writer for television and film. He was born in Brentwood, Essex on 5th may to his German mother Linde Ewald and his Northern Irish father, Robbie Davidson. After attending Bristol University, he went on to work for the BBC for a number of years before becoming a freelance director, specialising in documentary film making. He is married to Margaret Magnusson (daughter of Magnus Magnusson), with whom he has four children, Robbie, Calum, Ellie and Louis. He lives with his wife, kids, dog Bella and cat (Kim Jong Kitty).
